一个可能是全世界最小的透明艺术展廊出现在了香港铜锣湾，它的里面只能放下291个西瓜，总体积约为5个立方米，从降生在香港麦肯光明广告公司的那一天起，人们就它“291melons”。
2008年1月23日，香港麦肯光明广告为“291melons”主持了一场别开生面的“降生礼”，业界同行、创意伙伴、香港艺术家、以及麦肯的客户纷纷前来观摩捧场。当晚，一个身穿制服、年轻貌美的女郎站在展廊里，优雅地吃着西瓜，引得一班摄影发烧友疯狂拍照，却不想，这个年轻女郎的手上也带着一个微型摄像头，她在被拍的同时，更在悄悄地反拍大家的一举一动，而在展廊外面的人们，便通过电视机，看到了这一幕“拍与被拍”的经典画面。这就是“291melons”的第一件艺术作品Juicy Shoot。麦肯的创意人说，这样的创意就是为了告诉大家，身份的对换可以带来对视觉的某种思考。
香港麦肯光明执行创意总监黄光锐（Spencer Wong）说，作为创意工业的一份子，“291melons”可以提供给香港甚至全世界各界进行艺术创作。“环境的大小不应成为一种束缚，而是一种可能激发创意火花的涌现。'291melons’拥有自己的创作分子the melons，要满足他们的创作欲望，发挥创作的极致，就是要跳出纯粹为工作而工作的框框。”
“291melons”的第二件作品Melonzilla将会自1月30日起展出，届时，观众除了可以亲临香港麦肯现场参观外，还可以边上网边用手机与展品进行互动。“291melons”希望热爱创意的人们共同参与艺术作品的策划展出。

the concept of this tees is LONDON POP ART CULTURE, and they asked the designer to deisgn a series of tees..every tees also look great. white tees is YH, red 1 is mine.
other then that, YH also used a lot of reason of pursuit himself to buy that wind-breaker. honestly is very very nice..

Walao, 41 million! That was surprising! Seriously i wont say that it was really bad lah...it's was very realistic . I understand the idea of self video concept, when they were running though the subway tunnel, when they turn on the camera to night mode..seriously wanted to scream RUN so badly! after the movie i dun feel so good..because of the realness shooting, keep on shaking the angle..i cannot take it.. i really feel dizziy...i'm like "come ON ! get a real camera man already!!" The movie is like one and a half hours only, when the movie ended, Everyone is EVERYONE in the cinema sitting and waiting for the ending. This is it? WTF?! no idea wat happen, no explanations about the monster, y been attack and the whole world die?? I hate a movie without any ending it suck! That's the reason y i got so shock it can hit 41 million. Oh well, maybe it's just me who doesn't like it

又一年“香港设计师协会奖”得奖作品揭晓了！2008年1月8日到30日，2007年“香港设计师协会奖”得奖作品，会在九龙塘创新中心一号展览馆再度展出，展品共达90件，为24个组别中获金、银、铜奖的得奖作品，分别来自平面设计、产品、空间及新媒体界别。
“香港设计师协会奖”07的主题为“Design. No Junk Food”，表示只有最优秀的作品可入围。「香港设计师协会奖」07是认同区内专业水准设计的必然平台，入围门槛较高，在千件参赛作品中，只有15%的作品获选入围。
因此，香港设计中心本特别与香港设计师协会合作，在农历新年前将这样一个香港本地设计界举足轻重的展览，公之于众。
《龙吟榜》已从2007年 “香港设计师协会奖”所有金奖得奖作品中精选出5件，即将出版在2008年第一期总第63期《龙吟榜》上

2008年1月9日，一个叫“智廊2008创意年”的活动在中国上海拉开序幕，这吸引了17家国内外顶级的广告创意公司参与。
这个创意征集活动是将有上千幅创意画面在上海地铁各线展示，全部作品将围绕着奥运、世博会、环保、城市环境、企业文化等主题展开。走进上海地铁，只要留意地铁沿线的灯箱，就能体验到一场空前的创意视觉盛宴。
创意智廊共分为环境、社会、交通安全、健康、爱心及关爱等六大篇章。其中，环境篇通过展示全球变暖、不可分解垃圾等图片倡导人民保护自然、绿色出行；社会篇着重展示最新的社会现象，体现人与人的交流互动；交通安全篇和健康篇提醒人们应该珍爱生命、善待自己；爱心篇和关爱篇则告诫公众“勿以善小而不为”，在忙碌的工作中要关注身边事、身边人，常回家看看。
“智廊2008创意年”活动将持续一年，由各创意广告公司提供公益创意作品；所有作品将运用大面积、连装灯箱形式向大众展示创作，让地铁也能成为一个艺术展示的殿堂。
另外，智廊2008创意年的所有参与作品还会由上海30家知名媒体评审团进行票选，获选的2位幸运儿将获得由Getty Images赞助提供的伦敦7日行。最终获奖结果将在1月18日Getty Images主办的上海广告界新年聚会上宣布。
