For another vampire book-to-film adaptation, Universal Pictures “The Vampire’s Assistant” offers something better than Bella and Edward…Salma Hayek as a bearded lady.
Cirque Du Freak: The Saga of Darren Shan is the popular young adult book series written by Darren Shan, which follows the story of a boy whose life becomes entangled with a group of vampires and misunderstood sideshow freaks. The film stars John C. Reilly (what is up with that hair?) as the vampire that will change young Darren’s life forever. Willem Dafoe stars as vampire general, Gavner Purl, and there is a cast of interesting characters portraying the Cirque Du Freak members. Barney from Silence of the Lambs – ’nuff said.
The Vampire’s Assistant will be released in time for the Halloween season on October 23, 2009.
Another vampire movie.. look cool..should be quite entertaining.
