Frito Lays hired a team of skilled artisans to hand-carve a billboard made of wood in San Francicsco, demonstrating that Lay’s Kettle Cooked Chips are made with traditional, artisan cooking methods. The billboard was constructed over ten days.
The Carved Billboard campaign was developed at Juniper Park by executive creative directors Terry Drummond, Alan Madill, Barry Quinn, creative director/art director Hylton Mann, creative director /copywriter Andy Linardatos, print producer Mark Prole, illustrator Gary Bullock. Props were produced by Prop Art. Time lapse photography was by Chad Richard.
