Pablo Bernasconi

Biography: Pablo Bernasconi was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina in august, 1973. He graduated from the Universidad de Buenos Aires as a graphic designer, where he later teached design for over 6 years. He started as an illustrator in Clar’n Newspaper in 1998 where he worked as a designer too, making covers for over 200 editions. His work is also published at this newspapers: La Voz de Galicia, El Diario de Le—n (Spain), La Naci—n de Costa Rica, and The Times (London). Some of his clients in Argentina: Rolling Stone magazine, Nueva, Latido, Insider, Pc Users, Comtools, Editorial Planeta, Estrada, Editorial SM, Longseller, Sudamericana, Correo Argentino, Secretar’a de Turismo, Gobierno de la Ciudad, Abuelas de Plaza de Mayo. Pablo works today in Germany, USA, England, Australia and Spain, through agents. He published an illustration book in 2001 called "M‡s negro que blanco". He won two awards of excellence at the 21 and 22 th Society of News Design (SND) competition, on the category art and illustration individual portfolio and cover, from Clarin newspaper. He worked on the children field with several projects for different Publishers from Argentina (Planeta, Sudamericana, SM, Alfaguara) and will publish this year a children book with Random House Australia, written and illustrated by himself.
